On 52% of the total forest area, regeneration is actually necessary. On 93% of this area, regeneration is insufficient when compared to the local regeneration target. The frequency of browsing, protection against browsing, monitoring of browsing, and the area covered by ground vegetation and shrubs are discussed in this chapter.
