The Forest Certifications Sourcebook is produced by the Certification Information Service (CIS) of the European Forest Institute. The CIS is one of the information services provided by the European Forest Institute and is funded by DGVIII of the European Union as part of project B7-6201197-10. The principal goals of the Certification Information Service are: - to provide developing countries with information on the progress of forest certification and the development of national and international certification schemes; and - to provide European countries with information on progress of certification within developing countries.
