The spreading of root rots caused by Heterobasidion annosum and Armillaria in pine plantations in Belarus is described. The data on the influence of root rots on the mortality in pine plantations is given. The combined development of Heterobasidion annosum and Armillaria in pine plantations is pointed out and the interaction between them is studied in laboratory and on the root systems of infected trees. Control of these diseases in pine plantations of Belarus is described.
