Das Projekt der temporären Sicherung der Großtallawine im Gemeindegebiet von Ischgl im Jahr 2012 war eines der ersten seiner Art in Tirol und wurde somit auch von allen beteiligten Institutionen als Pilotprojekt für die vorbeugende Auslösung von Lawinen zur Sicherung von Straßen in Tirol gesehen. Um für nachfolgende Projekte dieser Art ein Unterstützungsinstrument parat zu haben, wurden im Zuge dieses Pilotprojektes auch die Praxisempfehlungen für den Einsatz von temporären Schutzmaßnahmen gegen Lawinen durch das Amt der Tiroler Landesregierung ausgearbeitet. Seit der Einführung dieser Richtlinien stellen diese den primären Leitfaden für temporäre Sicherungsprojekte in Tirol dar, welche durch Lawinen gefährdet sind und mittels automatischen Auslöseanlagen gesichert werden sollen. Neben dem generellen Aufbau der Richtlinien und den erhaltenen Informationen werden in diesem Beitrag aber vor allem die gewonnenen Erfahrungen der letzten 7 Jahre anhand des Projektes Großtallawine dargelegt.

The project for the temporary protection of the Großtallawine in the municipality of Ischgl in 2012 was one of the first of its kind in Tyrol and was therefore seen by all participating institutions as a pilot project for the artificial release of avalanches to protect roads in Tyrol. In order to have a guideline ready for subsequent projects of this kind, the practical recommendations for the use of temporary avalanche protection measures by the Office of the Tyrolean Provincial Government were also developed in the course of this pilot project. Since the introduction of these guidelines, these have been the primary guide for temporary security projects in Tyrol, which are at risk from avalanches and should be secured by automatic tripping systems. In addition to the general structure of the guidelines and the incorporated information, the experience of the 7 years of the project Großtallawine will be presented in this article.
