Horticultural therapy is a form of occupational therapy based on contact with nature and horticultural/agricultural activities as means used for the improvement of human health and life quality. It can be used for various groups of disadvantaged users: people with mental, psychiatric, physical and cognitive disabilities, addicted to psychoactive substances, unemployed, homeless or prisoners.
