Social/care farming (SCF) is an innovative approach to nature-based activities and services organised at farm level with well-established discourses in Western Europe relating to the multifunctionality of agriculture, rural development, social inclusion, etc (Dessein and Bock, 2010). Built on the principles of social solidarity, as well as social and environmental awareness raising, SCFs are cooperative production units, that involve people with
disability in the production, processing and service activities; and also provide agricultural awareness raising for the benefit of the society.
