The timber-floating in the River Mürz, which formely had been managed to cordwood-floating for the mining industry with floodgates meanwhile abandonned did not satisfy the demands which were to be claimed on a profitable timber-transport. Likewise the floating with wild-water was unreliable. Therefore a new regime of timber-floating has been initiated. The flooduildings finished in 1929 guide the timber after lumbering of all sortiments in the felling area with lowest loss in quality and quantitiy as fast as possible almost without any lingering to the place of use. The demanded floating-management of modern transport has been accomplished partly by new initiated floating very near to the felling area.
