In the article the matter of the U.S.S.R governmental standard for the classification of stock increment of standing timber is presented there. This classification includes the symbolics of increment kinds (german symbols), the names of increment variety and the mathematical expressions. It determines the common principles according to which the way for determining any increment variety must be founded. There are presented the given foundation of standard methods for determining the current stock increment of standing timber without felling the sampling trees as well as the examples for working out the mathematical paterns expressing the relation PIv= f (t, D, Z r). (PIv = percentage volume increment, the german symbol is PZv).
