The presented paper analyzes the results of experimental determination related to selected quality indicators of logging in intermediate coniferous stands up to 30-40 years, using fully mechanized technology on the basis of medium or large category of harvester Valmet 911.1/6 and forwarder Valmet 9840.1/6 working in the three-shift operation. The mentioned value of 9% found out hurt trees within the residual growing stand is comparable with foreign research results. The tables 3 and 4 show that the proportion of hurt trees was significantly influenced by the slope inclination in terrain (mainly slope over 40%), stand density and intervention intensity under the given production and technical conditions. A rut depth and relative change of penetration resistance in tracks were used as a rate of intensity of mechanical transformation in surface horizons of soils in skidding roads. The depth of visible tracks was negligible, it did not exceed 6 cm. The data in tabel 5 shows that passages of harvester and forwared with 600 mm wide tires filled by liquid caused a significant compression of bearable sandy-clay soil.
