Strategy of repair planning on the forest roads is for the time in the beginning and it is often done without the appropriate expert evaluation of the roadway. This article deals with the reasons for introduction of "the roadway monitoring scheme" which can delas with the reasons for introduction of "the roadway monitoring scheme" which can be called as "card" of the forest roadway. Principle resides in introduction of the information system about forest road. This scheme is divided by the contents on three parts. The first part contains numerical data about forest road. The second part contains graphic record of the roadway defelction as one from the most important index of the roadway bearing capacity. The third part contains evaluation of the field investigation and temporal proposal of the repairs together with the recommended technology. The importance of introduction of this scheme resides in the possibility to plan the roadway repair on 15-20 years in advance and so better economy with means which are reserved on the forest road repair.
