Abstract
Lysimeter investigations are a very important connecting link between the results of labortests and their application in field. An overview is given about the different GSF-lysimeter facilities and the experiments carried out there. The lysimeters differs in their way of construction, particularly in storing of installed sediments, in their weighability, in the impediment of the lateral flow and in their periphery.
