In 1988 the Federal Evironment Agency - Austria started measurements at Mt. Sonnblick (3106m asl). As a part of the GAW program ozone (O3), carbondioxide (DO2) and carbonmonoxide (CO) are monitored continuously. Ambient air is drawn conintously through the heated sampling inlet situated on the northern roof of the meteorological station and distributed to the monitors by a manifold. The signals are collected by a data aquisition system and half hour mean values are sent online to the air quality database of the Federal Environment Agency in Vienna.
