Abstract
Virgin forests research permits insights into the true lift processes of the forest. Results of this kind of research demand a profound change of forest management in the future. The guidelines of forest management patterned on nature are thereby confirmed and strengthened. The gravest mistakes of today's forest management are brought to attention. The new guidelines for the forest treatment of the future were outlined.
