The Forestry Associations within the sector of the Hanoverian Chamber of Agriculture constitutes a firm component and important support for private forest owners in respect to providing consultancy and guidance. The Hanoverian Chamber of Agriculture, in its roll as a consultancy organization, and the Forestry Associations compliment one another in their legal and statutory responsibilities. For example, the forester contracted by the Hanoverian Chamber of Agriculture, can if required, provide comprehensive consultancy, and guidance services through the Forestry Association, beyond those the Chamber has on offer. This setup is essential in enabling even small holders towards orderly, cultivated and market-conform business operations. In view of the ever more rapid progression of structural changes in nearly all sectors of agriculture and forestry, as well as the discrepancy between high expenditures and a shortage of financial resources, the forest-relevant political challenge lies in securing the Forestry Associations' stock, and to assist them in their contined development at justifiable costs and expenditures.
