After a period of intensive oak decline in three stands on the Krotoszyn Plateau systematic measurements were made over four years (1985,86,87 and 90) of the vitality of the same trees using Conditiometer AS-1. This give an opportunity to evaluate rapidly the health condition of the trees in particular years. Most consistent results were obtained making measurements in March or October of each year, that is before or after the vegetative period.
