The Bavarian Forest Administration as one of the biggest middle-European forest-owners has a special responsibility for the management of silviculture and for the performance of its duty resulting of the hunting laws. The State Forest has to be managed in the best manner thus giving an example of perfect forestry. The requirements of budgetary policy and game policy must be fulfilled in the course of the management in state-owned shoots. In 1994 hunting in state-owned shoots has been reorganized to meet as close as possible all the demand of forest benefits in our country. The experiences made until now are showing us that we have chosen the right way.
