Two species of long-horned beetle attack the stem and root of siamese rosewood, Aristobia horridula Hope and A. approximator Thomson. The emergence period of the adult lasted from February till October, with peak emergence of both species in July. Variation in the infestation is dependent on the size and vigor of the host tree.
