Relationship between the b.h. form factor of stem and various diameter quotients was investigated on the base of measurements performed with the section method on 2000 spruce trees as well as empirical formulas for defining the b.h. form factor were prepared to determine upon them the stem volume of trees on stump. These formulas can be applied for determining the stand volume.
