Accumulation of elements in the pine needles depends on supplying the plants with nutrients whereas it does not depend on the age of plants. That is why the indices on the state of supplying pines of various age with nutrients can be prepared on the basis of investigations of the chemical composition of the needles in the first years of their growing.
