- AbstractThe common hares hunted in the polluted regions showed intheir urine the amounts of fluorides which were proportional to the pollution. The animals from the town-near regions of the Prague concurbation excreted in average by 400% more F-, those from regions of large thermal power plants by 700% moe, and those from region of heavy concentration of industry by 3500% more fluorine than the check animals. Measuring of precipitation from the heaviest contaminated region showed that in the course of the same time up to twelve times higher amount of fluorides fell there than in the checking region. It is evident that the air pollution takes an important part in the contamination of individual trophic links of the trophic chain.
