- AbstractIn 1994 ThueringenForst (Thuringian Forest Service) created an Corporate Identity which can be compared to those in business companies. One part of this program is an interview of the employees which was lead by the Institute of Sociology at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena. 500 of the 2300 employees were representively chosen to take part in the interview. With a rate of return of 60% within the group of officials and employees the interview can be rated as success. The employees obviously accepted the interview as a opportunity to take part in the process of modernization and reorganization the forest administration in Thuringia. The questionnaire was devided in eight different questionsectors, each sector representing seven to twenty items. The employees were asked about their jobs (12 items), cooperation with the superior (20 items), information and communication (9 items), their opinion of the process of reorganization the Forest Service (19 items), identification with the forest administration and corporate behaviour (10 items). Furthermore it has been tried to show the main aspects and results of the interview.
