135 species of fungi which cause diseases and rots are reported on. Those with high practical importance within the period 1966-1975 are given more detailed registration and discussion, e.g. Gremmeniella abietina, Heterobasidion annosum and Phacidium infestans. Special treatment is also given to: epiphytotics, inter alia of Chrysomyxa abietis; Melampsoridium betulium on Alnus spp.; a possible hybridization between Microsphaera alphitoides and Microsphaera hypophylla; a Nectria closely related to Nectria fuckeliana; Neobulgaria premmophila in culture and in living trees; Rhizoctonia sp. 3 (Cf. Ceratobasidium sp.) in nurseries and on cold-stored plants.
