In the period of 1980-1984 the effect of some pesticides on the state of health of pheasants (Phasanius colchicus L.) and hares (Lepus europaeus Pall.) were monitored. The following preparations were tested. Actellic 50 EC (active substane 50% Pirimiphosmethyl), Basudin 60 EC (a.s. 60% Diazinon), Emdelit (a.s. 15% Trichlorfon, 10% Lindan), Evisekt 90 SP (a.s. 90% Thiocyclam), Karate 2.5 EC (a.s. 2.5% Cyhalotrin), Nitrosan 50 (a.s. 48% DNOC-NH4), Nuvacron 40 SCV (a.s. 40% Monocrotophos), Pirimor DP (50% Pirimicarb), Volid (a.s. 0.001 Brodifacoum). The most dangerous for the game are Basudin 60 EC, Evisekt 90 SP, Nitrosan 50, Nuvacron 40 SCV.
