- AbstractIn Scots pine trees of different sensitivity to fluoride and sulphur dioxide plant hormones were extracted from neddles. In more sensitive tree only one group of gibberellins occur localized on TLC at Rf 0.0-.02. The more tolerant trees (contain two (Rf 0.0-0.2 and 0.4-0.6) or three (Rf 0.8-1,0) groups of gibberellins. Less sensitive trees are charcterized by higher levels of gibberellins. Auxin-like compounds were localized at Rf 0.3-0.6. Preliminary tests show that there is some more tolerant trees, the presence of two additional groups of auxins were established (Rf 0.3-0.6). Generally in needles of more tolerant trees the content of auxins is higher then in sensitive ones.
