Branch Thickness and Stem Excentricity in Norway Spruce Line Plantings. The branch thickness to 10 m height in 60/70 yrs Norway spruce stands from line and square planting was below 20 mm diameter fro line planting at 2.5 x 1m if the food and even plants were used (Tab. 1 und 2, fig. 1 and 2), which leads to uniform stand development and prevents dominating stems gaining excess space. The stem excentricity in the stands does not show any correlation to the spacing at planting age but appears depended on wind conditions (fig.3)
