The measuring and evaluating of sortiment of 19 provenances of larch from the Alpine regions, Sudetes a High Tatras was realised in the age of 54 years. There were measured and determined the heights, the thickness at breast height and the shape form /quality/ of stem and the whole sanitary state of individual trees registered. The registration and evaluation of the occurrence of cancer of larch stem was neglected /the last evaluation of this sign was in the age of 32 years/ and namely from the reason, that many trees, attacked by cancer were during the last 20 years of educational operations set away. In spite of height growth the provenances from the High Tatras belong to the category of the most quick growing provenances, then the partly populations of Jesenice /sudetica/ origin. The Alpine provenances mainly from the localities in the higher sea levels grow a little bad. The results of determinations are essentially equal to informations, gained from plots I till IV of the Rubner's set on the German side of the Ore Mountains. Also in the thickness growth the partly populations of the eastern provenance circle /the region of Sudetes, High Tatras/ are averagely better than the provenances of Alpine origin. The provenances from the High Tatras show the biggest thickness dimensions, followed by the provenances of Sudetes origin. The weakest thickness increment is on some Alpine provenances, mainly A4, A12, A5. The greatest share of trees with the stem quite straight or a little curved show the two provenances from the High Tatras, from the Alpine provenances the partly populations Brenner from the 1700 m a.s.l. As to the shape form /quality/ of stem the less valuable are the Alpine provenances A10 Oberwintschgau, A4 Kalkkoegel, A11 the commercial seeding material of Swiss origin and then the provenance A1 Low Frank, whose primary origin is not known. The partly populations of Jesenice /sudetica/ origin and from the neighbouring regions do not differ in the share of categories of shape form of stem from the average of experiment. All the provenances of larch planted on the research plots in the zone A, B of the immission stress in the Ore Mountains demonstrate the good health state. Only in the quite individual cases there was ascertained the lowering of living ability without the possibility of specify unambiguous the reasons of this fact. Those relaities indicate relatively the big tolerance of larch to chronic longlasting influence of industrial immissions, in this real case first of all of sulphur dioxide. There was determined on the research plot V the statistically important correlative relation among the average heights of provenances in the age of 32 and 54 years.
