The valley narrowing by mass creep in rock on the Berchtoldslope in Gradenbach near Döllach, Möll valley in Carinthia, is one of the greatest in Austria. The depth of the moving mass, i.e. of the more or less ruptured and loosened bed rock has been partly determined by two drillholes. Based on these drill holes, through seismic prospecting over three refrection seismic profiles an additional three dimensional view of the extent of the different layers of the underground could be obtained.
