The future objective is to build a second generation of yield tables including sylviculture as a parameter. Study material consists of 157 plots that have different stand densities. So 275 data of girth and height current increment are obtained; there was no thinning within the increment period. 33 plots were so measured for 3 periods in a row. In a previous study a principal component analysis using stem analysis has shown that the variability of height growth of maritime pine stands is complex: we must distinguish "Site index" and "growth velocity" variations. We can conclude that the whole variability of height growth is included in the variability of girth growth. Concerning this parameter an multiple regression model is sufficient to explain the variations between the 33 half-permanent plots. This model use only dendrometric terms.
