Abstract
The paper gives a look over the remote sensing activities of the Forest Research Center in Eberswalde since the mid of the Fifties. It concentrates on different investigation for detecting vegetation stress caused by organic and inorganic pests (for example bark beetles, defoliators, fungues desease, forest decline etc.) using remote sensing technology. Especially the use of CIR spectrozonal films for pest management and control in various applications is demonstrated.
