Abstract
The new technologies of geographic information systems offer the possibilities to handle planning projects quickly, with higher accuracy and they are more reliable. In the following the use of analytical plotters for GIS applications is demonstrated. The needs which occur on specific planning problems are analysed and the possibilities of the new technology to solve such problemsare dealt in this paper showing a few examples.
