In this work volume ecuations for the beech are presented. They have been built from a reduced sample of felled trees situated in the "Concejo de Oroquieta - Erviti", in the west part of the beech forests in Navarra (Spain) . Their interest lays on the fact that, except the ecuations built in the Spanish First National Forest Inventory, there are not published ecuations for the beech in Spain. The ecuations presented are the stem volume inside bark, the stem volume outside bark and the total volume outside bark, in function of the normal diameter and the total height. Also are presented the ecuations of the stem volume inside bark and outside bark in function of the normal diameter and the stem height. For the stem growth volume are discussed the results obtained with different models, concluding that the best results are obtained in this case with the proposed model.
