The biomass production for "rebollo" (Quercus pyrenaica Wild.) in the province of Leon, is considered through fresh/dry weight tables by components. Among the different regression equations, the best fitting is that of allometric model, (Formel), with d.b.h. (D) and total height (H) as independent variables for fresh total weight (PFT) and for fresh and dry bole weight (PFF and PSF) estimation; and the independent variables D and H/D, for fresh twigs weight (PFRF) and for fresh and dry branches weight (PFRG and PSRG) estimatin. The effect of cluster sampling on the tree weight tables construction and confidence intervals calculation has been taking into consideration, using ratio estimator models. The 95% confidence limits varie from (Formel) for PSF to (Formel) for PSRG.
