Abstract
Two species, Anacaena rufipes (Guillebeau, 1896) (Coleoptera: Hydrophilidae) and Noxius curtirostris (Mulsant & Rey, 1861) (Coleoptera; Anthribidae) are recorded from Austria for the first time. Furthermore, Anacaena rufipes is here newly recorded from Central Europa. Diagnostic characters of A. rufipes are described and illustrated.
