Abstract
In this work, the effort was undertaken to try determining a relation between proportion of mature wood (and juvenile wood) and the forest site type in the Norway spruce stems. It was analyzed 28 trees, which growth in different site condition comes from forests 4th age classes. The results show distinct difference between share of juvenile and mature wood in spruce stems growth on fresh forest and fresh coniferous mixced forest. Mean value of coefficient M/J (ratio of volume of mature wood to volume of juvenile wood) was 19.6 on FF and 8.9 on FMCF. The difference showing a better ability to formation mature tissue on FMCF, this site is also more optimal for spruce. This difference was verified trough statistic tests.
