Abstract
The fourth part of the Atlas gives the definition, classification, structure, characteristics and distribution in forests of podzols, semipodzols and fluvisols. The Atlas is designed for foresters, forest owners and researchers and will give them a better understanding of the properties, importance and distribution of forest soils.
