Abstract
Studies of the diet composition and feeding activity of Peregrine Falcons in a natural habitat are given. the breeding success is compared to free-ranging Peregrine Falcons in urban environment (Göttingen). The number of breeding pairs and the residues in eggs make useful bioindicators of environmental pollutants because Peregrines occupy a higher trophic position that exposes them to bioaccumulated contaminants in their prey.
