Abstract
The present study is the first one carried out at Cetatile Ponorului, a karstic region of 1250 msm. within the Apuseni Mountaeins. The following five associations were identified: 1.) Cystopteridetum fragilis Oberd. 38. 2.) Moehringio-Gymnocarpietum robertiani (Jenny-Lips 30) Lippert 62. 3.) Asperulo capitatae-Seslerietum rigidae (Zoly. 39) G. Coldea 91. 4.) Leucanthemo waldsteinii-Fagetum (Soo 64) Taeuber 87. 5.) Leucanthemo waldsteinii-Piceetum Krajina 33.
