Within the scope of forest management as practiced by the forest district of Nedlitz, a special form of forest enterprise classification, "Historical Forest Management in Bärenthoren", was created with a particular view to continuing the documentation of Bärenthoren. The volume of tables presented here covering this special Bärenthoren forest enterprise classification permits an evaluation of several aspects of "present-day forestry". Tree composition, increment development, site assessment, state of tending operations, extent of tending and regeneration planning are briefly outlined. Especial attention is given to trends in tending and regeneration planning as perains to the future development of "continuous forests" in the forest district range of Bärenthoren.
