Abstract
The last four or five years have witnessed sample research on the chemical composition of the foliar fraction of tree biomass with quite a number of groups of substances recovered and ways of their application come into view. New trends in utilizing foliar extractive products emerge: repellents for pest control, fungicides, growth stimulants for agricultural and horticultural uses. The application of tree foliage based substances in agriculture open up possibilities for having pollution - free produce. Ways how the said substances could be used in medicine and veterinary science are shown.
