Abstract
The impedance method has been developed in the direction of impedance spectroscopy. The aim is to characterize plant tissues using an electrical model and to find out more exactly the site of frost damage. Using the impedance locus presentation a new electrical model for a small-diameter stem of Scots pine was developed. The type of needle electrodes, degree of hardiness and frost damage significantly affected the form of impedance locus.
