The 15oth anniversary of the death of Johann Heinrich von Thünen is used as an opportunity to recommend also the scientific forester the main work of his "Der isloierte Staat in Beziehung auf Landwirtschaft und Nationalökonomie" ("The isolated State in relation to Agriculture and National Economy") to be studied once again.
