PEFC-certifcated forest enterprises have signed on for the observance of the principles of sustainable forest management and their controlling through internal and external inspectors. Independent auditors use for the external controlling also the results of the systematic internal controlling, called the policy of system stability. The Lower Saxony policy with PEFC-board and -commissioner, their duties as wellas the constrictions in case of deviation from the PEFC-principles are described.
