Abstract
Eggs of 15 species of Syrphidae are characterized and grouped according to their furface examined by scanning electron microscope. The eggs were found to exhibit gereric characters with contribute esentially to the present taxonomy of this family. Eggs of 12 Syrphid species are described for the first time.
