Abstract
For plant conservation one has to consider the man-made climatic change, that will be answered by different plant species with individualistic changes of the potential distribution limits. To correlate distribution limits with climate, not only summer and winter temperatures, temperature sums humidity are to be used, but also the saisonality of rainfall. Such correlations reveal that some outposts of plants will fall outside the climate range, other potential range limits will shift due to climatic change. Annuals and anthropochorous plants will easily follow the shifting climatic range limits, whereas the migration rates of many perennials will be too slow as a result of the insularity of sites. An evolutionary change will possibly compensate the climatic change in some cases. In any case, the climatic interpretation of the distribution patterns enables to deduce the possible answer of plant distribution on predicted change of climate.
