The fragmentation in AustriaÖs Forestry: The last survey of agricultural and forestry estates in 1960 showed for the first time for each farm or estate the number of separated plots of which the forest consists. Thus it was possible to give an increases with the number of plots and with the smallness of the plots. A factor was used as a determinator for the degree of fragmentation. The tables and the map show where the forestry fragmentation is worst. Ways and means to solve this particular problem are discussed later in this article.
