Most provenance experiments conducted so far in Poland with Scots pine have dealt with Polish provenances. Less attention has been devoted to evaluating the suitability of foreign provenances of this tree species for planting in Polish forests. This work presents certain morphological and growth characteristics of 19 Scots pine provenances representing almost the entire European range of this species.
