Analytical studies were conducted of the species composition of galls occurring on the leaves of Carpinus betulus L. in the Ojcow National Park in the years 1995-1996. Galls were caused by 3 species: Aceria macrotricha (Nalepa), Zygiobia carpini (F.Loew) and Zygiobia ruebsaameni Stelter (a total of 631 galls). Index of occurrence frequency and Agrell's index of species co existence have been calculated. Zygiobia ruebsaameni appeared to be a new species for the fauna of Poland.
