Abstract
Phenotypic stability, adaptability and productivity of 10 clones of Arborescent Willows have been studied through five experiments. Regression analysis was used. The processing of data for the stock volume (m3/ha) was performed at the age of 13 years of plantation. On the basis of the regression coefficent (b1) and the average productivity in all sites, the type of adaptability was defined for every single clone. Among the tested clones some genotype differences were defined regarding phenotype stability, productivity and type of adaptability. According to the mentioned characteristics it was possible to divide the tested clones into three groups: 1. Phenotypically very stable clones with low productivity and with specific adaptability to unfavourable environment. 2. Medium stable clones of medium producitvity and tendency to adapt to all environments. 3. Phenotypically very unstable clones of high productivity with specific adaptability to optimal environment. Obtained results are very similar to those at the age of 5 years of plantation, for the same clones.
