The Hessian Agency of Forest Management Planning, Forest Research and Forest Ecology has developed an information system with two memory files of geometric data: the contents of the area protection map and the forest district net. These storages are connected with the database of forest planning and thus form a comprehensive information system for digital cartography and statistics.
