Abstract
In 1994 the ThueringenForst (Thuringian Forest Service) created an corporate identity concept which can be compared to those in business companies. One part of this program is an interview of the emplovees of the Forest Service, which is lead through the cooperation of the Institute of Sociology at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, Thuringia. The interview is meant as one step in the demand of reorganization and modernization the forest administration within participation of employees. The following goals are prusued with the interview: 1. the whole management as well as the process of information and communication are to be adjusted to the needs of the employees, 2. the results are to be shown strategys of optimizing processes in the administration, 3. the interview is meant as an ofter to the employees to participate in the process of modernization. Furthermore the steps of realization this concept are shown.
